I am coming to you with some very exciting news… Walton Village Hall has been the home of CJH Dance Academy, formerly Catherine Shepherd’s School of Dance, for over 40 years and I can’t even begin to describe the number of memories that have been made, dancers who have walked through the door and lessons that have been taught at that venue. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support.

Our little dance school has continued to grow and grow and grow and myself and Hannah have previously hunted for a suitable new, larger venue but, with a big tick list at hand, have never managed to find the right venue.

Until now… an amazing opportunity has come along to become the resident dance school at The Hall on the Green (Ulverston Road, Newbold) and we think it is too good to turn down. Our location is so important to us and we know that this move will mean it is a little further for some of you to travel however we believe the facilities that the new venue has to offer will make this worthwhile.

We will have not 1 but 3 studios, meaning we can bring you an even better timetable of classes. All 3 studios have mirrored walls and fully integrated ballet barres. Studio 1 is around 3 times larger than our current venue which will be so beneficial to our dancers. All three studios can only be accessed via a push- button intercom increasing the safety of our dancers. I could go on but we believe the best way for you to understand our decision to move CJH Dance Academy’s home would be to see the new studios yourself, so we are arranging some Christmas classes and an open day at The Hall on the Green so that you can come along and see yourself.

The current timetable will remain largely unchanged (only very minor changes are needed) and all being well we are planning to start lessons at the new studios on our return to classes from Christmas break in January.

We want to thank you all in advance for supporting us in this decision and we are looking forward to a very exciting future for CJH Dance Academy.

If anyone has any queries at all please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best wishes,

Chloe, Hannah, Jo & Hannah x
